3D Printing Optimization Guide

Pre-Generation Tips

The photo you use determines print quality. Follow these guidelines:

  • Shoot from multiple angles if possible
  • Avoid thin parts that won't print well
  • Consider the final print size

Generation Settings for Printing

Recommended Settings:

  • Format: STL or OBJ
  • Quality: Premium
  • Mesh Density: High
  • Enable: "Optimize for 3D Printing"

Slicer Settings

After downloading your model:

  1. Import into your slicer software
  2. Check for mesh errors (most are auto-fixed)
  3. Orient for minimal supports
  4. Scale to desired size
  5. Generate supports if needed

Material-Specific Tips

PLA

  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Infill: 20-30%
  • Support angle: 45°

Resin

  • Layer height: 0.05mm
  • Exposure time: Check resin specs
  • Hollow if possible to save resin

Troubleshooting
